Sound of SU Vita
Sound of SU is the Sound of Sophia and Umut.
Sophia Crüsemann accompanied Blixa Bargeld on her main instrument, the viola, in 2014. In 2015, she founded the "Ensemble Essener Solisten". With this orchestra she performed her cycle "Dramapanorama" at numerous events ( www.dramapanorama.de ). Since 2017, Sophia is studying Jazz vocals at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. She is winner of the German Rock and Pop Award 2017. For the award-winning documentary movie "The Mission of the Lifeline" she composed and recorded the complete movie score. In summer of 2018 she founded the duo "Sound of SU" with Umut Yıldız.
Umut Yildiz studied music technology at the Technical University of Istanbul from 2005 to 2010. He has become known as the lead guitarist of the famous Turkish band "Gece Yolculan". He also accompagnied well-known Turkish musicians including Baris Akarsu and Kenan Dogulu and was part of the band Neyse and the band of Erdem Akakce. He also works as an arranger and composer for the above mentioned musicians.
